I've just finished my reconstruction of the Mindelheim type sword from Kemmathen, based on a blade cast by Neil Burridge (http://www.bronze-age-craft.com). I finished the blade, including hardening of the edges. The pommel I cast together with Neil last year, and the hilt plates I cast myself. I'm very happy with how this sword turned out. Definately the coolest and most accurate reproduction sword I've worked on so far
Stats:
Length: 84cm
POB: 13cm from the shoulders
Mass: 1520gram (blade just under 1000gram)
The extra weight is in the hilt, so not really a problem. Despite being a heavy sword, it's very well balanced, and feels very lifely in the hand.
